I think we’ll be in our backyard later today picking cherries too. I’m praying we’ll have enough to make a pie!!! Seems like we haven’t gotten many the last few years.
Would love to pick cherries. Here too they have just matured and can now be seen at the markets:)
Perfect, so bright and cheery. I would love fresh cherries now, thanks. :-)
Yay for cherry season! :-)
These pictures are so beautiful! The last one is my favorite, those cherry have a brilliant and gorgeous red color! Can’t wait to eat the first cherries of the season! :-)
Your cherries look delicious!

Great post
Reblogged this on Chef Ceaser.
My neighbor has a large cherry tree in their front yard that is right on our property line. They rarely use any of the cherries at all, I’ve only seen their kids pick a cherry off here and there. I am waiting for just the right time to pick a whole bunch to freeze and use in lunches for snacks and treats for the kids. I love cherries in a banana smoothie too, such a great combo! They are kind enough to let my husband try and clone one of the branches so I can grow my own cherries. I just love this season. Beautiful pictures, looks scrumptious!
Hey there Hannah! I absolutely love your made-from-scratch take on life. It’s an attitude I think so many people should adopt! If you don’t mind, I’ve nominated you for the One Lovely Blog award and featured a link to your site on my blog… if you’re keen to participate you can find more deets at https://earthologyhealth.com/2016/05/22/one-lovely-blog-award-thank-you/ too. Thank you once again for the awesome content (and the delicious vegan recipes, many of which I’m going to try as I’m busy transitioning myself!) :)
If only blog photos could be like the wall paper at the chocolate factory! These look so darn good!
Wonderful beautiful captivating photos, dear Hannah!
Wonderful pictures! Now I’m craving cherries!
