It began as my midterm project, but may become a photo series to be continued. Which is your favorite, and which would you like to see next? (For anyone who’s curious, I got an A-!)
They all look awesome! I love the contrast between all the colours! Is that homemade mozza in the last one? It looks super delicious!

Yep! Still experimenting with uncheeses.
Loading...
Love it! What’s the one above Italy, though? I don’t recognize the flag.
Loading...
Morocco! It was tricky to decide on flags that would be easily recognizable, and relatively simple to recreate in relevant food.
Loading...
These are great! I love the chili pepper one the most. It looks most natural. Are you still in school!?
Loading...
Yeah, I think I’m working on the 8-year plan here (at least…)
Loading...
How beautiful! You are so clever and talented, Hannah! Personally, I can’t decide on a favorite. Don’t feel bad about the 8 year plan – I was on the 10 year plan.:)
Loading...
Beautiful! Such a creative idea. I like France and Italy! I would be interested in seeing what you could do with the American flag!
Loading...
Your photography is outstanding, Hannah! Way to go.
Now I’m going to do something my father used to do to me when I’d come home with a 98% on an exam: Only an A-? Why not an A?! No, seriously, though, that’s fantastic, but you should have gotten an A ;) Congratulations, and thanks for sharing!
Loading...
Wow! These are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Loading...
what a clever idea – and you did it beautifully!
Loading...
These are amazing, Hannah!! So clever and beautiful. I love them all, but I think Italy is my fave.
Loading...
Beautiful! I can’t pick just one, I like them all! A-? You were robbed, you should have gotten an A+. :-)
Loading...
I love them all! They are beautiful!! I’d love to see an American flag. :)
Loading...
Fantastic! I would love to have been a photo class with you… what a great series. I’m really drawn to those stray pieces of rice in the Japan photo. You should do India!!
Loading...
>>in<< a photo class with you. :)
Loading...
Oh wow. Hannah that is awesome! Such an inventive idea! My favorite is the Japanese flag…then again I’m a sucker for all things sushi.
Loading...
this is awesome! Japanese flag is genius!
Loading...
Ooh! I love them. Especially the Japanese flag as others have said. You have a knack of making everything gorgeous so I’d like to see more next but don’t care which ones!
Loading...
These photos are beautiful!!! What a great concept! I like them all too much to pick a favorite.
Loading...
I like the Germany one the best. Really good use of texture and shape. Congrats on your A!
Loading...
They’re all beautiful, but if I have to pick a favorite, I’d say the candy one!
You’re so talented!
Loading...
Beautiful images, I think I love the sushi one best! Or the candy…
Loading...
France looks delicious, as expected :)
Loading...
Love, love, love the Japan sushi flag! Definitely would like to see you continue the series… I would love to see what you might do for a Vietnam flag. :)
Loading...
This is brilliant! Italy is my favourite but I’m not impartial saying that (L). I’d like to see Brazil :)
Loading...
Everything is so visually wonderful! :D
Loading...
Love the photo series! Everything looks delicious!!! Great job with your class!
Loading...
Congrats! Well worth the high grade!
Loading...
Love the sushi and chilli shots! The sushi one is so innovative and clear :)
Loading...
Good luck with Australia :)
Loading...
They’re all gorgeous but my favorite is the second one. The candy. I can see why you got an A!
Loading...
Great photos, amazing colours!
I’d love to see Finnish flag.
Loading...
I like the 4th one the best. I am not surprised you got an A :)
Loading...
Love the second and third from the top. Color combo is perfect. Photographic execution of image #2 is superb!
Loading...
the last one – basil, moz & tomato. to.die.for. YUM!!!
Loading...
Love love all the picture and congratulation on A.
Loading...
Congrats on the awesome grade! They’re all beautiful, but I like the composition best on the candy one and the chili peppers pic. Those two really caught my eye.
Loading...
The peppers are my favorite — the curves of the plate and the peppers, the straight lines on the cloth and the echoing reds and yellows.
Loading...
So cute and clever!
Loading...
Top photo – LOVE!
Loading...
Ah! All these images look so yummy, as well as clear in detail. Well done on your grade!
Loading...
what a fantastic project – a fantastic grade well deserved.
I’d be intrigued to see what you would with a Union Jack of course :o)
Loading...
great job getting an A! well deserved. those are gorgeous. i love the last one :)
Loading...
Italy looks the most delicious. I wish Japan’s sun could be bigger and redder, but I don’t think there’s a veggie that would be appropriate. Anyway, all the flags are very clever. Would you try Sweden?
Loading...
I love the Japanese flag! But of course, all of them are amazing :) And I really want some of that mozzarella “cheese”!
Loading...
How brilliant! I love this!! Great idea :)
Loading...
Definitely the pepper one!
Loading...
France and Germany really scream with color. I think you did an outstanding job!
Loading...
Congrats on the A! You totally deserve it!! I love the sushi one, followed closely by the candy one :) Such great work!
Loading...
I love them. I love the unique textures and intense colors of the foods you’ve used. You’ve really captured the identiy of the countries. I’d love to see Canada or Mecixo or Switzerland. Any of them could be quite fun to experiment with.
Loading...
this is SO beautiful!!!!
can You do something for Brazil, with brazilian food? I sugest to use bananas for the yellow! :)
Loading...
My favourite is the top one but they’re all gorgeous and creative!
Loading...
Ingenious! So creative and beautifully done!
