Homemade white chocolate: Close, but not quite perfect. A few more tweaks to the recipe and method… and hopefully I can share more than just a picture!

Oh, yummm! Does this ever look fantastic, smooth and melty. . . you’ve got me drooling!
i’m already impressed; i didn’t even know this was possible!
YES, PLEASE!!! Oh my goodness, that looks DIVINE!! Need any taste-testers?? ;0)
Perfect or not, it looks delicious!
That looks like real vanilla beans in there! That oughta be good! :)

Oh my goodness that is so amazing! I can hardly contain my excitement. You are a culinary genius!!
How exciting…I can’t wait to check back and see how the next batch looks!
Looks good! If you tap your mold against something like the counter while the chocolate is still liquid, you can get rid of some of those bubbles you got in the corners.
Homemade chocolate? And it looks so perfect! I’m amazed – again.
Wow! I don’t know what to say, except that that looks really good.
You are too amazing, Hannah! I can’t wait for the details!
Ooh, looks lovely!
It looks amazing. Did I see vanilla seeds peaking out? Oh man, I can’t wait for the recipe.

Sounds (and looks) awesome, even if it’s not 100% just yet.
Is that possible??!! Not perfect, you say…..looks perfect to me. Yummy!
You’ve won an award Hannah, stop by when you can!!!
I am totally excited about this!! I saw some white chocolate for sale a while back but haven’t been able to find it again!
I used to love to make a copy of Starbuck’s Cranberry Bliss Bars, but haven’t since going vegan due to the lack of white chocolate!
It does look good!
Wow!!! Very impressive and looks great. Can’t wait to see the recipe. :)
This looks perfect. can’t wait for the recipe
You’re kidding, right? Homemade white chocolate!
Oh man… can’t wait for the recipe!
wow, funny.
I was just thinking about making vegan white chocolate yesterday. The “Artful Vegan” cookbook has a recipe for white chocolate mousse that I’ve never tried, but sounds amazing.
keep up the good work!
:)

Wow! That looks so good! Like someone else said, I hadn’t even realised it was possible to make your own chocolate! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the recipe =)
Hannah, I just (FINALLY!) picked up your book last night, and I have to tell you that I already love it! I have been reading (and drooling over) it all day, trying to decide what my first recipe should be. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, and you are such a great writer! The introductions to each recipe are so interesting, and everything sounds (and looks!) so tempting. You are amazing for putting out such an incredible-looking book (especially at such a young age!), and I can’t wait to come back to shower you with praise after I’ve actually tried some of the recipes! :)
FAbulous! You never cease to amaze me, Hannah!
You go with your experimental self….that is so cool.
Awesome!
Its about time someone finally got around to getting this right ! (I kept meaning too, but never found cocoa butter in a store, and it seemed too expensive to order off the internet… so yeah. I suck.)
Go Hannah!
♥
Wow! Simply stupendous – how do you find the time to experiment, style your photographs, shoot them, write a blog, write a book as well as study and get through college. You sure live every moment of your life. The chocolate in all its avatars looks yummy.
I am so happy to discover your blog! wow!
