Only fried chicken will save us. Hats off to @project_pollo for showing up and serving comfort while the city remains until a thick sheet of ice yesterday. It was pretty much the only reliable vegan option I could confirm in the nearby vicinity and I feel so fortunate to have it.
And so it begins again. The Great Ice Storm of 2023 has the city by the throat, so naturally I was among some of the first to lose power. Batteries are dwindling along with any heat still sequestered in this drafty shack. Please send warm and energized thoughts.
Happy Taco Tuesday, fam. We're having another winter storm event and I wouldn't leave this house even if it was on fire. More delivery, it is!
Being an adult means avoiding paying the new auto insurance policy that's gone up by a couple hundred dollars since last count and instead ordering a burrito for delivery, because that's a much wiser financial investment.
