Great photo! Now that I’m a TA for an architecture history class, I appreciate this all the more. Are the gothic spires from an actual skyscraper or a cathedral? Even though the modernist architects were militantly anti-historicist; to me the older stuff (when done right, rather than cheaply imitated) is so much more beautiful than the bone-dry International Style. You can tell from the picture which style ages better.
This looks familiar… but I suspect it’s not. Where is it?
