If you didn't snap up some of @riceaboveatx 's highly elusive spam musubi, you 👏 missed 👏 out. 👏
Strawberries are naturally sweet treats with a bevvy of health benefits, but that's just the beginning of this berry good tale. These ruby red jewels have been used to connoted purity, passion, and healing due to their delicate heart shape. 🍓💗
Chag Purim Sameach! I'll admit I've been a bit preoccupied this year and didn't have time to make hamantaschen. No matter, we can still celebrate and make some noise! I've got a classic recipe for a tender, buttery dough with fruit filling on the blog, of course, but I'd like to shine a light on this unconventional interpretation; a savory dumpling stuffed with edamame, a quicker, easier, and healthier alternative to the usual pastries. Snag that recipe at the link in my profile, or copy/paste: http://bit.ly/purimdumpling
What's better than tacos? How about vegan chick'n fajita tacos from @revolutionvegankitchen that are prepared with just as much love, respect, and spice, whether the customer is paying or not? Yeah, that's pretty damn good. They're still out there everyday working to feed the need, even when it comes out of their own pockets. These folx make me proud to live here and WISH I was a true Texan. This is mutual aid in action, people helping people. It's humbling, inspiring, and really delicious.
