Cheers to the weekend and to summer weather again! This calls for a Cosmic Charlie smoothie from @Juiceland.
This is just a reminder that plantains are amazing and can do anything that potatoes can do. Case in point: melting plantains, air fried with jerk seasoning to a crispy finish and downright buttery interior. This is a recipe destined for the blog, so it's sort of a tease for now... Although it's so simple, you could totally figure it out yourself.
It's fate that Kismet Cafe hit my radar right when I was craving something veggie-forward, but not necessarily too healthy. Fried cauliflower and zucchini over yellow rice with hummus is exactly the ticket.
Full stop, these lemon pepper wings (AKA fried oyster mushrooms) from @communityvegan were easily one of the best things I've eaten in months and I was NOT prepared for this level of deliciousness. I'm still struggling to process the experience into words, other than:
