Just when we were beginning to think that this winter would come and pass without any real snow, a torrential storm hits us. It started lightly around 10 pm last night, continued as we all slept, oblivious to what we would find in the morning…
I woke up somewhat earlier than usual, being unable to sleep, and took a few pictures from the safety of the kitchen at arond 7:30 pm:
Still light, pretty, managable… But as of a few minutes ago…
…It’s -really- coming down out there. We estimate there’s about 12 inches currently, and it’s falling at a rate of atleast 2-3 inches an hour. Hopefully it’ll let up atleast a little bit, because it’s supposed to continue through the afternoon and maybe evening as well.
I don’t think we’ll be going out anywhere today…
Update, as of 11:30 am:
Approximately 14 inches, and growing. I beginning to feel trapped in here!
