Photo Friday: Embarcadero

    1. You really are paying close attention, my dear Fran! That’s the greatest compliment anyone could every pay, especially on these silly photo posts. The use of color was intentional but the implications were wholly unconscious. I suppose this series became an apt metaphor for my feelings of working to find bright spots in a bleak situation… Things will be okay, but life has knocked the words right out of me temporarily. My goal is to get real posts circulating on the blog again ASAP, not just pretty pictures left as placeholders.

I’m grateful for you (and anyone else reading this, by the way!) for sticking through it with me.

      1. Sending lots of warm waftings of summer over to you Hannah. Whatever it is that is laying you low please know that we are all here for you if you need us. Life has a way of knocking you sideways and it’s easy to feel like no-one gives a stuff but you have a lot of friends. You might not know them very well, but we are out here. Hugs to you and just think of your 5 little baby cherimoya’s that are all growing like crazy that wouldn’t have even had a chance at growing if you hadn’t taken a chance :)

      2. It is almost the end of winter Hannah, soon you will be up to your eyeballs in hot weather and I will be up to my eyeballs in Brunhilda. Both of us will be happy again :)

  1. Hanna,
( please forgive my grammar for i am originally from israel )

I’ve been following your blog for long time, and I enjoy your recipes along your photography. I keep going back to your wonderful sushi, maghadra and many other wonderful creation.

Just today i was at my back yard and got inspired to take pictures, and my theme were : ‘ find the beauty in anything’ . I love your opening picture the first thing that i notice is the green bright bicycle and i thought how beautiful is that in all that grey…

    1. Orin, thank you so much for your message! Your grammar is fantastic- Much better than many native speakers I know, truth be told. ;)

Your kind words truly mean a lot to me, and I’m touched that you’ve been enjoying my previous posts so much. I hope that you’ll keep reading and find even more new content worth reading.
