Mission: Impossible Pies

Watching as the days flick by and my favorite time of the year looms ever nearer, I can barely contain my excitement. I adore the holidays, and all the time in between, if only because I have a perfectly good excuse to bake around the clock. Festive cookies, cakes, pastries, and candies all capture my imagination, and every dessert for any family feast must be a show-stopping grand finale. Now, I know that not everyone shares my enthusiasm for these winter celebrations, and even fewer take the same attitude about baking extravaganzas. In fact, I’m betting that the stress of simply cooking for such large parties of picky guests is enough to send any sane host or hostess over the edge, let alone worrying about some finicky dessert.

However, it doesn’t have to be a huge production. Would you believe that you could make a pie in about 5 to 10 minutes of hands-on time, and without the hassle of making a crust? It’s true! You can skip all that fussy dough making, chilling, and rolling out, and get straight to the good part- the filling!

Just in time for the holidays, Mission: Impossible Pies is my latest ebook which will guide you through creating your own delicious and dead-easy, crust-less pies. Recipes include:

Apple Streusel Pie
Banana Creme Pie
Chocolate Fudge Pie
Coconut Pie
Cookies and Creme Pie
Cran-Cherry Pie
Lemon Curd Pie
Mint Chocolate Chip Pie
Peanut Butter Pie
Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Sweet Potato Pie

…And of course, color photos are included for each sumptuous pie, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. For just $5, treat yourself, and your loved ones to the gift of pie this year!

  1. Wow, this sounds so cool. You are really talented. So, these crustless pies are sliceable and still look like a piece of pie? It comes out clean?

How did I miss your first e-book?

  2. I ordered this just a minute ago and thought I had to wait for it for a while, but I got it immediately in my mailbox. Reading the recipes now and OMG, they look SOOO good! Can’t wait to get started trying them out. One of these pies is sure going to make it to my Christmas menu!

  3. These look terrific, Hannah! Could it possibly be true that these pies are either made entirely without flour–or can be made with a gluten-free flour option? I was also interested in your last e-book but had a similar question: what was the proportion of flour-free and/or gluten-free recipes to the whole? I definitely support you wanting to keep the actual recipes under wrap, so to speak. Otherwise, no one would bother to purchase them, but I needed just a bit more information to go there, myself. Thanks for your consideration!! And keep baking!

  4. There used to be a recipe for “Impossible Crustless Quiche” when I was a kid, and this brought back the memories! They all sound great. You’re amazing, Hannah! :)

  5. I have a problem, because I don’t have a creditcard. Yes, I’m European and we don’t have the habbit of owning one. So, I have this question, will these recipes show up in a future book of you? Because then I can wait (it will be hard after seeing your delicious cover). I keep this wantlist and my boyfriend buys the books I really want on the internet. Are sometimes I’m lucky and can find or order them in the English bookshop in Brussel. If you can’t give an answer to this question I will understand.

  6. -raises hand- question! but firstly, the pies sound awesome and the pictures over at flickr are just so drool-worthy.. which is what led me here to begin with. anywaaaaay, i do have a question…

    1. do the recipes use tofu? mostly, half, a couple of them..?…i am not a big tofu person because i can taste it a mile away and my husband totally hates it with a passion, so i must know.

    thanks! :)

  7. The Impossible Pies! The crustless pies that I’ve never tried before. This looks like it’s fantastic… I’m definitely interested. I’ll see if I can snag myself a copy soon.

God, the cover just looks beauuutiful… *drool*

  8. Just bought your ebook, now i can’t wait to get home from work and try out one of the pies!! They all look soo tasty!!

  9. @ Grave: Four of the recipes use tofu, and a couple of others use vegan cream cheese or sour cream (in case you are opposed to other soy things). I’m not big on tofu myself for digestive reasons, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to get around it.

Just thought I would answer in case Hannah didn’t have time herself. I’m very glad I picked this up and can’t wait to start trying out the recipes!

  10. Hi there! I’m a regular reader of your blog (though I don’t comment often, and that’s because I’m just speechless!!! Lol!). I bought this eBook and it’s fantastic! I can’t wait to try all the recipes!
    Cheers and thanks!
