Next time I decide to publicly renounce all contests and recipe competitions, maybe I’ll at least wait until I get confirmation about whether I really did lose or not. However, the embarrassment is a small price to pay for being picked as one of six finalists for the Budget Recipe Challenge, so I’ll happily eat my words this time around. I’m hoping that my dish will be much tastier though, so check out the recipe which includes a lemon ginger tofu to serve alongside your miso bulgur pilaf. I’d love to hear your thoughts, and after the dishes are washed and put away, would you be so kind as to vote for me, too?
Heck yes I will vote for you! And that pilaf was so good, I won’t mind trying it again with the tofu as well =)
Looks delicious! Best of luck in the contest :)
I registered and left a comment on your recipe – I hope you win!
Voting will happen! The dish looks lovely. Also, Baby Cakes rejected you?!?! Are they out of their minds?!?!?!! (YES.) You are far too skilled to come work for me.
Congratulations on being a finalist. Ooh, I sure hope you win this one!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I’m voting for you, of course :0)
congrats, Hannah! and you better believe i’m voting for your dish! hells yeah, girlie!
good luck – you deserve to win! I’ll whip up a batch of the pilaf tomorrow for dinner, just to make sure that it tastes as good as it looks and sounds. I’m sure it will!
Congrats on being a finalist! Good luck with the contest. I still have that bulgar pilaf recipe at the top of my list of dishes to try :)
Congrats and good luck, Hannah! Your recipe looks delicious.
Oh yum, the miso bulger pilaf sounds awesome!
Looks very beautiful ans sounds pretty tasty, too. Good luck, Hannah!
I just found your blog from my friend Melisser’s blog (theurbanhousewife.com) and I see that you’re the person who wrote My Sweet Vegan! I love that book!!! Melisser let me borrow it for a little and I made half the book (including my new all time favorite dessert, the Marshamallow cake! Hello Gorgeous!) and so I had to go out and buy me own! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
ANYWAY, your blog is just as adorable and informative as your book and I’m going to make your lemon ginger tofu/miso bulgur pilaf recipe for friends this weekend as it looks ridiculously good!
Thank you for bringing delicious happiness into this vegan’s life!
Okay, that is really all, I will shut up now!
oooh that looks tasty… and i’m glad you are a finalist! at least you enter competitions and contests. if you don’t enter you’ll never win, right?
Hannah that’s awesome!! Congratulations for being a finalist!! I will most certainly try out your delicious sounding recipe and cast my vote for you!
This is freaking awesome! A mega whole foods just opened 2 miles from my house. Good Luck, Hannah!
Ooh miso bulgur pilaf – that sounds awesome! Cheap plus delicious always equals a winning combination.
Good for you- that’s awesome. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you win.
Hannah, I’m eating this right now and it is FANTASTIC! It was so easy to make too. I posted over on Whole Foods too but just wanted you to know how great it is (you probably had an idea about that though).
Really hoping you win!
