is that a black pearl pepper, Hannah? my spouse and i grow them and i thought, “hey, that pepper looks familiar!”. :) such a lovely photograph, indeed!
I’m actually not sure what kind of pepper it is! The seedling was labeled as a pepperoncini (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peperoncini) when I bought it and out it in the garden, but clearly, it is not. Plus, I bought it on the basis of expecting a more mild flavor, but those little things pack in serious heat. It could very well be a black pearl- I wish I knew!

The pepper in that first photo looks almost artificially superimposed on the cubes. . . amazing contrast and clarity! Gorgeous.

wow, just wonderful! a lot of people contrast items for the sake of contrast but i can see a lot of purpose here. very nice.
