They are in my opinion NOT vegan. I contacted the company about their sugar not long after becoming vegan and while they claim to be vegan they told me that they DO use bone char in their refining process but since none of it remains in the sugar after it is refined that they consider this to be negligible. Just letting you know. Thanks for posting so many amazing recipes!
