Lunchbox Bites

It’s becoming impossible to ignore the departure of summer, especially now that Labor Day has passed and most kids have begun a new year back at school. This can often mean rushed meals and lack-luster lunchbox choices, but it doesn’t have to! I myself struggled to get decent baked goods out of the oven in time to make it to my classes this past year at college, but the experience helped me to rethink my whole approach. Now, I present to you a mini e-book of one dozen tasty recipes for students on the go, parents who want to feed them, or anyone who just needs packable treats to accommodate a busy lifestyle.

Included in this paperless volume are the recipes for:

Cinnamon-Swirled Banana Sandwich Bread
Best Bran Muffins
Brownie Bites
Chipsters
Coffee-Buzz Energy Bars
Hummus Crackers
Peanut Butter Bomb-Shell Blondies
Peanut Butter and Jelly Toaster Tarts
Pie Cups
Root Beer Pudding
Steel-Cut Oatmeal Cookies
Strawberry Crispy Rice Treats

All with easy-to-follow instructions, and pictures for every recipe. Delivered instantly to your computer, no muss, no fuss, for only $5, you’ve got nothing to lose!

  1. Bye bye diet! :)

Sooo hungry now, but I’ll get them anyway and just blame you for the 300lbs I put on after eating all of these.

Sounds good though Hannah. Thanks again!

  2. Hi Hannah,
I have purchased your delightful ebook of recipes. It looks like lots of fun and I am looking forward to trying the recipes for my daughters lunches.
One small problem–I was running out of ink toward the end of my printing, and need to re-print the first 7 pages(my printer prints the last page first). Can you send me a link to the book so I can reprint these? I can’t read most of those pages, and I’d like to be able to.
Thanks so much for your help! :O)

  3. Have a question (or two) for you about this Hannah – I know Vegan is egg free, but what are you using as a substitute for you recipes here? I can’t use anything soy based due to an allergy, and have never been able to find the vegan egg replacement.
We also have to be nut free in our entire school, and I see alot of nut recipes here.
Would you mind emailing me and letting me know? Thanks. :-)

  4. I am so excited! I hope to buy one like … really soon!
Now that I am in the age of packing my own lunch, I like to think of new fun ideas for my short break, lunch!!

  5. Hannah,
Can I just say, YUM!!! I’ve made the Cinnamon Swirl Banana Sandwich bread, the Oat Groat cookies (I used dried peaches and pecans) and the Brownie Bites. WOW! They are all delicious, easy enough and will be fun in the lunchbox!
I’ll be making the Coffee Granola Bars tomorrow, as well as the banana peanut butter bars. MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
    Thanks so much!

  6. Looks great Hannah! I have been so busy lately. I finally had a free morning and drank a cup of coffee as I read everything you have been up to. I especially adored the chip clips! The book sounds like a great idea! Great job.

  7. DUDE! i was like “root beer pudding.. WTF?!?” lol. my husband loves root beer like it’s crack water. heh.

  8. I just made the Strawberry Crispy Rice Treats (with homemade strawberry jam I made last weekend). Ohmygoodness. Rice treats with no HFCSmallows! Hurray!

I used Kashi Seven Whole Grain Puffs instead because there were no non-BHT-laced crispy rice cereals at the closest grocery store. Tastes delicious!!

    You’re a genius.

  9. Hi Hannah,

I just ordered a copy of the e-book and paid with my credit card, but no link to the book or anything like that appeared afterwards, Google just thanked me for my payment. Will the book be emailed to me? How long will this take?

    Thanks,

    Jen
